Bob Brown will give a talk on the Antarctic and his experiences visiting the area since 2011. 

He’ll cover the formation of Antarctica, some early explorers and their triumphs and disasters, the extraordinary wildlife and topography, as well as the thrills and spills of traveling there.

He’ll conclude with reflections on the various research stations on the continent, and the unique international agreement that helps preserve the status quo, although increasingly under threat from climate change.
