Orcas in the Narrows leaving at the beginning of the ebb tide

These wonderful creatures caused a stir yesterday when they came into the lough for a short visit.

The one with the notch in his dorsal fin is known as John Coe and the other is thought to be Aquarius. They are part of the West Coast Community which spends lot of time around the Outer Hebrides - see here for more info.

If you look carefully between 1 min 10 secs and 1 min 14 secs into the clip you'll see a seal panicking as they pass.
